Allotmentboys Urban Allotment Info and Diary

Our story begins in late summer 2010, when we acquired the allotment plot.
It is here that our battle with nature (and the polish) began.

The allotment had been left unused over winter and spring, an some local Polish folk liked
the plot so much they decided to set up home there. We couldn't blame them really, but
neatly packed up thier things, left a NO SLEEP :( sign and padlocked the door.
They kindly kicked it in.

Undetterred and inexperienced, we have decided to share our urban allotment journey with you.

So we patched up the door, went and got some pallets from the local industrial estate
(yes we did ask first) and set about knocking up some squarish pallets. Digging up the earth
provided us with an abundance of stone with which we started forming a path around the pallets.

Finishing this will take an eternity.
